I’m 7 months post-op from mouth corner and lateral philtrum reduction surgery. I didn’t get any separate laser treatment or care, but there’s almost no scarring. It’s only faintly visible if you look very closely? So after the surgery, I didn’t even go for a separate follow-up or receive the free laser treatment. What’s disappointing is that the effect isn’t that big either. Honestly, I don’t really know what changed. Maybe because of the nature of this surgery, if you want a noticeable result you end up with a scar, and if you want the scar to be less visible the effect becomes smaller.. Still, the director is very kind, and even when I ask questions about other surgeries, they don’t find it bothersome and answer kindly. But I think this surgery is for people who feel it would be better to do it even if it leaves a noticeable scar, if they really want to get an effect from it.
