Cheekbone Reduction and Pin Removal Review: The Standard Approach to Facial Contouring

They seem to have incredibly fast hands. I had chin-tip pin removal, cheekbone reduction, and deep cheek fat removal done, and the surgery ended so quickly that my guardian was surprised. Maybe because the surgery time was short and I was already very thin, the swelling seemed to go down quickly. The incision was made behind the sideburn area, so I was a bit less worried about scarring, and the suturing was extremely neat. I also gently ran my tongue over the intraoral incision area, and it seemed cleanly done. Day of surgery (Day 1) I didn’t swell as much as I expected, but my lower lip was very swollen and looked like Bboturu. No bruising was visible. Even on the same day, I could clearly see that my cheekbones had been reduced. It hurt so, so, so much when I was waking up from anesthesia. They said they couldn’t give me much painkiller because my weight was too low. Still, they gave me small amounts over time, so after a few hours it became bearable. That doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt.. Before discharge, I had a CT scan and checked it together with the doctor, and my first words were, “Wow, they went in a lot.” I ate liquids and finely ground porridge. I kept applying ice packs and walked diligently while getting cold air. I put mouthwash on a pet toothbrush and brushed lightly, and I rinsed diligently. Slept in a slanted, reclined position. Day 2 The swelling gradually started. Lower lip still like Bboturu. There was annoying pain, but it was bearable. Still no bruising. Because of the antibiotics, I felt so nauseous that I could barely eat, whether liquid food or anything else. I diligently did ice packs, walks, and mouth rinses. Slept reclined. Day 3 I was very swollen. Because of the incision near the sideburn, I tried not to wash as much as possible, but I felt too uncomfortable, so I applied waterproof tape as carefully as possible and showered. Even after washing, the sideburn incision area had no particular problem. On Day 1, when I was waking up from anesthesia, I remember clawing at my chest because it hurt so much, and I only now found that my chest and abdomen were covered in wounds.. It must really have hurt a lot. Day 4 Swelling at its peak. A blue bruise appeared around my chin, and it looked like a purple bruise was about to come up under my left eye, so I hurriedly applied bruise cream. The pain was gradually disappearing. Day 5 By evening, the swelling seemed to go down a bit, or maybe not.. The bruise on my chin got darker, and under my eye became fine again. The pain also felt gradually less. From this point, I slept lying down. Day 6 The swelling seemed to be going down little by little. Maybe because I couldn’t eat well, I lost more than 2 kg.. Day 7 The swelling went down a bit more. The swelling moved downward, so I looked like Moomin. The doctor personally removed the sideburn stitches. It stung slightly and was over quickly. They also checked inside my mouth and said it was clean. The staff member who took progress photos was surprised that so much swelling had gone down. I received a swelling laser treatment and went home. Day 8 The swelling went down more. I looked like a semi-Moomin. I ate soft regular food (rice mixed into seolleongtang), cut into tiny pieces with scissors. I think I can now say there’s no pain. Day 9 The swelling went down even more. I wore a mask outside all day, then came home and took it off, and I was shocked because the swelling had gone down so much. It was to the point where I could insist I naturally look like this. I think I can go around without a mask now because of swelling. The blue bruise on my chin is still faintly visible. Week 2 There is slight residual swelling, but I look like someone who naturally looks this way. I do my makeup well and go out just fine. In photos, I still seem a bit puffy, but in real life I’m not really sure. Week 4 It feels like all the swelling is gone, but the clinic says more residual swelling will still go down. I saw an effect from the front too, but the 45-degree angle effect was really significant, and I heard a lot that I looked more refined. Honestly, I hadn’t even expected an effect of making my face look smaller, but that was what I heard the most. Even when I take photos with the default camera, there are now almost no parts of my face shape that I don’t like anymore.
