It’s been two months since my autologous costal cartilage surgery, and almost all the minor swelling? has gone down. Compared to the beginning, the line has become much softer, and the columella shape looks very natural too. I’d heard that once the swelling in the nasal tip goes down, it can come down a bit, but after my first surgery, my nasal tip drooped quickly and I also had severe columellar drooping, so I do think the doctor fixed it firmly in place. I’ve been doing fine without pain or discomfort, but as everyone knows, with the nose you have to keep watching it for at least 6 months. So I just hope it stays maintained without changing much from here,,, It was revision rhinoplasty, and I used 4 mm silicone, septal cartilage, and autologous costal cartilage.
