During the consultation, the consultant said they use young donated costal cartilage, so the material is good for the price and stays sturdy, and that the single representative director personally performs surgery on only two people a day. So I ended up having surgery at that hospital. The materials used were donated costal cartilage, septal cartilage, and silicone.
When the splint was first removed, it looked like a Michael Jackson nose because it had been forcibly stitched up... The consultant in charge saw my expression and said that when I had revision surgery again, they would do a retouch charging only the material fee, without anesthesia fees or anything like that.
But they say humans are creatures of forgetfulness, and as I kept looking at it, I started thinking it might be okay. I also didn’t have time for revision surgery, so about a year and a half passed like that. Then the nasal tip started lifting upward. Only then did I go to another hospital, get a CT scan, and have a consultation, and they found that silicone had been inserted all the way to the nasal tip... Sigh, the doctor said, “Who puts silicone all the way to the nasal tip these days... If you do this, contracture will definitely happen,” and in reality my nose shape did become a contracted nose.
