My concern was that my nose itself was large, and my goal was to shave down the hump and create a straight-to-slightly-curved line. While looking at reviews of hump nose surgery, I narrowed it down to three places in Gangnam that I liked the most and went for consultations, and I was most satisfied with this place. I didn’t decide right away; after visiting the last clinic too, I decided to have surgery at this clinic.
Director Cha Myeong-gyu pointed out the characteristics of my nose really well. He said that although my nose was large, its height was decent, and that I only needed a little more volume at the nasal tip, so we decided to proceed without an implant. Since my septal cartilage is on the larger side lol, he said it was good for surgery. Unlike the other places, he did not recommend osteotomy, so I got the impression that this was a place that didn’t add unnecessary procedures.
Among the clinic’s reviews, I had taken a screenshot of someone whose nose was similar to mine and brought it with me, and I think my result came out similar to that person’s. First of all, after rhinoplasty, I like that my nose feels a bit smaller.
Before surgery, the director told me he would use only enough septal cartilage so that the strength of the septum would not be weakened, and I really felt this was a place that cared for patients. I had no discomfort, and I was actually surprised that it hurt less than I expected. Even when I went for follow-ups or treatment, the staff treated me well, so I always felt good.
I especially liked that the director did not recommend unnecessary additional procedures. What I remember most is when I first said I wanted to refine my nostril wings, and the director told me there was no need, and that it would come out beautifully even without doing it. I really think this is one of the few hospitals that truly cares for patients.
