The day of the previous, previous, previous surgery - right after, I was so swollen that flesh was bulging out between the compression band. But even though it was the same day, it didn’t hurt at all, so I walked around a bit, and by evening the swelling had gone down a lot. My cheekbone line became straight, and I could clearly see that the anterior cheekbone had gone in! From Day 2 to Day 4 was when my face was the most swollen, and I especially did a lot of cold compresses and walking! From Day 5, the swelling kept going down and coming back, and gradually moved down toward both cheeks! Around this time, my temples also started to swell! The last photo is right after removing the cheekbone stitches on Day 7. Maybe because after stitch removal I got aftercare with SmartLux, the swelling went down a lot compared with before, with a very noticeable difference! From this point on, daily life became really so much easier, and the swelling went down more and more each day! Finally tomorrow is the 2-week mark, so I’m going to get the intraoral stitches removed and receive radiofrequency treatment!! Even now, I hear a lot that my face got smaller and my cheekbones are gone, so thinking that it will go down even more from here makes me really excited!!!! haha At first, I couldn’t open my mouth much, so I made oatmeal egg porridge at home and ate a ton of it. Now I can open my mouth quite a lot, so I’m eating regular food that isn’t irritating or spicy!
