While considering revision eye surgery, I researched a lot of clinics. After my first surgery, the line had loosened in an ambiguous way, and the heights on both sides looked subtly different, so I was stressed about it for quite a long time. I wanted a natural yet defined semi-out line, but since it was revision surgery, I ended up looking into things even more carefully.
After going to consultations at several clinics, I had a consultation with Director Kim Ki-beom, and first of all, his first impression was very calm and trustworthy. The consultation didn’t feel rushed; he carefully checked the condition of my eyes one by one and explained everything. I liked that he explained in an easy-to-understand way why my existing line had turned out like that and what method would be needed to correct it so I could get the line I wanted.
What I especially liked was that, rather than trying to make it unconditionally dramatic, he designed a semi-out line based on what suited my eyes. He didn’t make it excessively high, and he created a line that starts naturally from the inner front area but still looks defined when my eyes are open, which was exactly the direction I wanted. Since it was revision surgery, I was also very worried about scarring and adhesions, but he explained specifically how he would release and proceed with those areas, which put me at ease.
On the day of surgery, I was honestly very nervous, but the clinic staff guided me kindly, and overall I felt that the system was well organized. Before going into surgery, the director checked the line once again and looked over the design carefully until the very end, which made me trust him even more.
The surgery itself finished faster than I expected, and thanks to the anesthesia, I barely felt any pain. Right after surgery, there was swelling of course, but I was surprised because it was much less swollen than I had expected. Since it was revision surgery, I thought it would swell more and take longer to recover, but the line looked relatively clean from the early stage, so I felt relieved.
During recovery, I didn’t have any major discomfort, and the bruising wasn’t severe, so I returned to daily life faster than I expected. As time passed and the swelling went down, the semi-out line settled more and more clearly, and I was really satisfied with how the front looked natural while the line opened up more refreshingly toward the outer side.
Now it has fully settled, and I really like that it looks defined and glamorous when my eyes are open, while the line doesn’t look excessive when my eyes are closed. Above all, the symmetry on both sides is good, and I think the biggest change is that my impression looks much more defined than before.
I had a lot of concerns because it was revision surgery, but in the end it was a really satisfying choice, and I’d like to recommend it to those who want a natural yet glamorous semi-out line.!! I’m really satisfied because the whole process, from consultation to surgery and recovery, went smoothly and reliably.
