It’s been almost 4 months since I got full-incision double eyelid surgery from Director Kim Se-young. I’m 32 now, and most people around me had it done during vacation in their freshman year of college, but back then I felt like there was no need, so I didn’t do it. Then I got a late urge and finally had it done now. I had consultations at about five places, and roughly 3:2 of them recommended natural adhesion over incision. Director Kim Se-young recommended full incision, without epicanthoplasty or ptosis correction, just incision + fat removal. He said epicanthoplasty or correction can be done later too, so I should do only the double eyelid surgery first and think about it after... Right now I’m completely satisfied with this suggestion. My face originally has a plain, understated impression, so I think he quoted only the minimum needed without making it excessive. It seems like he prefers overall harmony and a pure/innocent-looking style? He said my puffy eyelids were muscle, not fat, so it wouldn’t be easy even up until the day of surgery, which worried me, but it turned out really well, so I’m very satisfied.
