It’s been about 2 weeks since I got facial liposuction + Mint thread lifting at Daum. I saw a lot of reviews saying it didn’t hurt, so I wasn’t nervous at all, but it hurt a lot more than I expected. As soon as I woke up from anesthesia, they put the compression band on me, but the wound opened, so it hurt so much…ㅠㅠ
For bruising, I only had a little yellow bruising around the chin, and I had almost none, to the point that the staff said it was surprising.
But the swelling was insane… People said they look super slim by day 1, but I had none of that. My face was just completely asymmetrically swollen and bumpy, so I thought the surgery had gone wrong and whined a lot to the consultant…
At first, I really felt like my face had gotten bigger than before surgery, so I was really depressed, but since my face was originally asymmetrical, the consultant checked and told me they pulled one side a lot and removed a bit more from the other side, so I felt a little reassured.
By week 2, the asymmetry gradually decreased and the major swelling went down, so it returned to about my previous face size. After radiofrequency treatment, the swelling went down a lot.
But my face is still hard and uncomfortable, and sometimes it tingles. When will time pass… Will it really get slimmer? ㅠㅠ
Daum unusually uses a Mami Son-style compression band, and this really makes a person suffer. Since I work, I have to wear it when I sleep, but it presses on my airway, so I wake up every 2 hours ㅠㅠ I don’t know how I’ll wear it for the next 3 months..
Anyway, I’ll write again when the effect shows up.
