I had heard that the director has handled many functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty cases, and during the consultation I could really feel that they had a lot of experience. I had usually struggled with the feeling that one side of my nose was often blocked, but only after the consultation did I understand the reason for this one-sided nasal obstruction. While looking at the CT scan, the director explained the internal structure of my nose and the condition of my nasal septum, explained the cause of the nasal obstruction, and suggested proceeding with functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty together. My nasal tip also looked slightly droopy, so I asked about that as well, and they said they would make sure to refine and support the tip nicely. They explained that rhinoplasty could make my overall impression look cleaner, and said it would be best to do it within a range that suits my face. The consultation style felt calm and realistic? I liked that they talked about both what I could expect and the surgical limitations. After the consultation, I became more convinced that doing it together as functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty would be the right choice.
