My nose was really short, and my columella was tucked way in, you know? From the front, my nostrils stuck out visibly, and from the side it looked flat, so I was seriously stressed every time I took photos. But now, whenever I look in the mirror, all I can see is my nose…. lol I thought so, so much about donated rib cartilage versus autologous costal cartilage, but after getting a consultation, they said that for a short-nose case like mine, using only septal cartilage or ear cartilage wouldn’t provide enough support, so there would be a high chance of the nasal tip drooping later I wanted to get it done properly in one go, so I chose autologous costal cartilage, and it’s been about a month now? It’s seriously amazing.. From the nasal bridge to the nasal tip, it feels firmly held in place without any wobbling lol Director Choo Sung-cheol at ㄷㄷㅇ reflected what I wanted so perfectly, almost like he had read my mind, and shaped my nose for me lol Since my columella came up, my nose doesn’t just look longer; my overall impression looks much more dimensional and refined!! Before, it felt like my nose was buried in my face, but now the nasal contour really stands out, so I feel like I even got the bonus effect of making my face look smaller lol The most fascinating thing after surgery is that the tip shape looks really smooth without feeling like it was artificially pinched, you know? It’s only been a month, but it already feels like it was my own nose, the skin adherence is good, and there’s almost no foreign-body sensation!! These days, even without heavy contour shading, my nasal tip line looks delicately defined, so I’m living for taking selfies Leaving out all the cliché stuff, if there’s anyone here who’s having the biggest deliberation of their life because of a short nose like me, just go for a consultation at least.. Dr. Choo’s hand skills are seriously good lol
