I got mine done by a director who was basically like some professor. He explained the order of the ribs and said using the 6th rib improves fixation strength or whatever.. why the 6th rib is sturdy and all that... Once we started talking about autologous costal cartilage, he had a lot to say
To summarize what the director said, it was this: Bulbous nose = fixation strength is important > then the nose surgery should be done using sturdy autologous costal cartilage >> upper costal cartilage is sturdy (the 6th rib as a representative example)
My bulbous nose was pretty severe, so a very natural look isn’t my preference, and I asked for a slightly glamorous feel. I think that was reflected well, but please take a look and tell me how the overall harmony is.
