The swelling formed around my nostril area, and it’s not going away, like a hump. What should I do about this? It’s almost been 10 months since the surgeryㅠ Normally, after several months, all the swelling should be gone. This is the surgical result, and on top of that, the osteotomy was overdone on one sideㅠ My nose ended up crooked. Isn’t it too much to just dismiss this as an ordinary mistake by the doctor? Isn’t it just a lack of skill?
They said they couldn’t do revision surgery, then said they’d do it again, but I’m too anxious to go back. I also need to earn money right now, so I’m working, and honestly it’s unbearable.
If it were my old face, people who would have just ignored me, people who wouldn’t even have dared mess with me, are staring at my face and picking fights. And because I’ve lost confidence, I go around with my head downㅠ This is because the director just botched the surgery, so scar tissue inside is all tangled and stuck together, and the swelling probably will never go down, right? Can this kind of swelling be removed with revision surgery too? I’m thinking of getting surgery from Professor Dong Eun-sang at Korea University Guro Hospital.
It would be better to get revision surgery somewhere else, right?
At first, my hump nose was really stressful, so even though the surgery was ruined, I told myself it was okay, I could get revision surgery, and to just endure a little longer, you know? But now I think I really understand how important and significant a person’s appearance is.
I wish at least the swelling would be completely gone when I wake up and look in the mirror.
