It’s been 5 months since I had bulbous nose surgery + nasal osteotomy + hump correction + nostril rim lifting + nasal tip projection with autologous costal cartilage, and almost all the swelling has gone down, so the shape has settled in naturally. It looks much softer than in the beginning, and people around me say it doesn’t look obvious, so I’m satisfied!!
Even early after surgery, my recovery was going well, so I was looking forward to the 3-month and 5~6-month marks, but I’m actually living with even more satisfaction than I expected.
I can breathe well without any discomfort, and it doesn’t interfere with my daily life at all. It feels like it’s becoming more and more natural as time passes, so it’s beyond my expectations haha
What I’m most satisfied with is that my nose looks much more refined from the front than before! In the past, I used to deliberately wear my glasses lower to hide my wide nose But now I don’t need to do that anymore, so I’m really happy!
The reactions from people around me have been really good too~ Friends who know I had surgery tell me my face looks naturally more sophisticated, and people who don’t know have complimented me by saying, “You somehow seem more feminine these days,” so I feel proud haha
The autologous costal cartilage harvest site has also recovered a lot, and I’m so grateful to Director Kim Jinwoo, who took such careful care of me from before the surgery through after the surgery!!
