With ㅅㅇ, removing everything without leaving anything behind does feel satisfying, but in the photos of removed cartilage, there are many cases where the septal cartilage is really large. Even if it’s removed, could the nose collapse or become deformed later? I’ve seen a comment saying they hadn’t really seen many cases where the septum was in such poor condition that it needed reinforcement at ㅅㅇ, and that even if it’s not the septum, because of the nose’s structure blah blah, it should be okay. But at ㅅㅅㅇ, they say septal cartilage can only be harvested once, so since you don’t know what may happen later, they place it back inside the nose as an overlay. It’s good that they put it in, but it seems more like simply laying it on rather than using it as reinforcement. Would it be reusable later? Wouldn’t it feel bothersome? At ㄱㅇㅅ, when septal cartilage has been harvested, they seem to bring up reinforcement of the weakened septum most of the time, so I’m wondering whether reinforcement is truly necessary. All three doctors have different styles, so it’s really hard. My nose was done with septal extension, so I can’t make a decision.

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 12 Removal is usually done with an open approach, right?

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 11 Rhino hump on the chart?
It says “rhino hump, crooked nose, M 5.0” on the chart like this. Does this possibly mean they shaved down a dorsal hump? Or a bump? I heard that when inserting silicone, they refine it? shave it? and then insert it. Could that be what…
