Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Review of lateral cheekbone surgery in my 30s after worrying about my lateral cheekbones for 10 years

I worried about my lateral cheekbones for several years and eventually ended up getting surgery. Honestly, I hesitated a lot right up until I did it, and I was most worried about side effects or looking unnatural. The day of surgery passed more hectically than I expected, and after I woke up from anesthesia, I had some discomfort opening my mouth and a throbbing feeling. It wasn’t unbearable pain; it was just enough to make me think, “Ah, I really had surgery.” Days 1–3 The swelling + tightness from the compression were the hardest part. But even on day 3, I wore a mask and went to work lolololol But this is really a process everyone goes through, so I think it’s a period you just have to endure and get through. After about a week, the major swelling went down, and I could almost go about daily life normally. However, my cheek area still felt firm and awkward. Weeks 2–3 From this point, people around me started saying things like, “Your face looks smaller??” But it didn’t look obviously like I had surgery; it just felt like my face had become softer. After one month It felt like the width of my face from the front had slightly decreased + my stress when taking photos almost disappeared-!! The best part was that it felt refined while still being my original face. Honestly, I did have stress from swelling during the first 3–4 days, but it goes away with time. If, like me, you had a complex about your face looking wide because of lateral cheekbones, I recommend doing it as soon as possible haha No sagging either !!
