I wore double-eyelid glue for over 10 years, and honestly, it was such a hassle lol. I had to apply it every morning and remove it at night, and it felt like my skin was stretching, so I made up my mind to definitely get the surgery within this year and started looking into it. I went to consultations at several places, but when I had a consultation at Luho Plastic Surgery, they pointed out the condition of my eyes the most accurately, so I decided on this place. Since I had used double-eyelid glue for a long time, my skin was a bit stretched, so they said an incisional method would be more suitable than a buried-suture method, and I thought so too. Even when I used double-eyelid glue, I liked a natural-looking line, so I told them I wanted a natural to naturally defined look, and they listened well. On the day of surgery and day 1 after, my eyes were really swollen, so it was a bit scary.. But the swelling did go down quickly. When I think about having used double-eyelid glue for 10 years, I feel like I should have done it sooner lol. It still feels amazing to have double eyelids as soon as I open my eyes in the morning.. I think there’s still a little bit of minor swelling, but I’m satisfied, so satisfied.. hehe
