Nose Surgery Reviews

It’s been one month since my first nose surgery!

I was stressed because my nose was the first thing I noticed every time I took photos, so I decided to get nose surgery. I went to consultations at several hospitals, then decided after having a consultation at a plastic surgery clinic.

I had silicone for the nasal bridge, and ear cartilage + autologous costal cartilage + dermis grafting for the nasal tip. Since it was my first surgery, people around me were surprised that I was using autologous costal cartilage, but the director said it would be better to do it properly from the start, so I trusted him and went ahead.

On the day of surgery, it was done under sleep anesthesia, so it ended comfortably. When I woke up, it was already over.

The next day, I went to have the nasal packing removed. It pulled a bit, but it was tolerable. They also gave me a swelling-reduction injection.

At one week, I had the splint removed and the stitches taken out. The donor site was uncomfortable at first, but after a few days there was no discomfort, and the scar is barely visible.

Now that one month has passed, a lot of the swelling has gone down and the shape is clearly showing. When I take photos now, my nose no longer stands out first, and overall it feels balanced.

When I went for my one-month follow-up check, the director looked at it himself and said it turned out well, so I felt good.

It’s a small change, but I’m satisfied because I feel like I’ve become someone I can be happy with myself.
