I was stressed about my nose at first, so while looking into options, I had a consultation at Dr. Romi. The nasal tip felt pressed down and droopy, and my nasal bridge was also on the lower side, so I also had a consultation for functional nose surgery.
Since I was about to enlist in the military, I scheduled the surgery accordingly and had it in September 2021. At week 1, I had swelling and a sensation of heat, so I went back to the clinic. At the week 2 follow-up, inflammation was confirmed, and honestly, I was very worried.
I was told that medication treatment was also possible, but because I was about to enlist soon, I decided to remove the implant as the more definite method. The nasal tip was not touched, so the area that had been pressed down was able to maintain a certain degree of correction.
At week 3, it was confirmed that the inflammation had completely resolved, and I was told that if I visited after being discharged from the military, they would place the implant again at no cost. At this point, I felt that the hospital would take responsibility until the end, so I trusted them.
So after my discharge, just as they had told me, they corrected my nasal bridge again with a new silicone implant without any additional cost. As a result, my current nose line looks natural, and I am satisfied.
Even though there was an issue in the middle, they took clear responsibility for the aftercare and looked after me until the end. Through experiencing it myself, I felt that the director is truly a responsible person.
I was able to trust them and leave everything to them from beginning to end, and I am truly grateful that they kept exactly what they had promised.
