I removed silicone that had been in for over 10 years, left the nasal tip columella ear cartilage in place, and cautiously added autologous dermis. I noticed it around one month, but my nose had lifted. The nostrils are mostly the same, but the nasal tip with the raised columella lifted. In other words, the nose got shorter. The part where the nasal tip had been pulled down lifted. I removed it because of silicone inflammation, but it was not severe. It just got red once and throbbed, so I got scared and removed it. Anyway, I felt burdened by the idea of removing the nasal tip ear cartilage, so I had revision surgery with autologous dermis to balance it in my own way. I’m now at week 5, and since it was not overfilled, after the swelling went down it has subsided much more than the silicone, but it’s okay. They said they barely added any fat and used only dermis, so I’m hoping there won’t be rapid absorption like in people who raised it excessively into an avatar-like height. Could that be right? And will the lifting come back down? Even if it inevitably stays lifted, I hope everything just stops here.
