Even though I’m still on the younger side, the area above my eyes kept getting more sunken, so it bothered me so much every time I took photos Especially under lighting, I looked even more hollow and tired, so I was stressed and eventually got fat grafting above the eyes. I had it done by Director Kim Geun-sik at Mate Plastic Surgery, and during the consultation, he didn’t seem like the type to overfill; he focused on filling it naturally, so I liked that the most and decided to go with him. The procedure ended faster than I expected, and I wouldn’t say there was no pain at all, but it was just a stiff, sore feeling? It was tolerable. The area where the fat was taken from was also better than I expected. I’m now 1 week post-op, and there’s still a little swelling left, but now that the sunken area is filled, my impression looks much less tired. It doesn’t feel like a dramatic change, but there’s a subtle feeling that I look prettier. People around me do ask what I had done, but it’s not the kind of thing that looks obvious, so I’m even more satisfied with that I still have to wait longer for it to settle, but so far it looks natural and not excessive, so I’m satisfied!
