Nose Re-Surgery

Has anyone had revision surgery or removal for a saddle nose?

I had silicone + ear cartilage done in Busan 2 years ago, but from around 6 months post-op, the middle of my nose started looking bruised like in the photo, and only that area gradually became sunken. So I went back to the clinic, and the doctor said something like, “A step-off can normally happen? It will go away with time,” and sent me away, so I just thought that must be how it is Since he was a doctor, I only trusted what the doctor said. Now the silicone shows through so much, and as the nasal tip has collapsed, that kind of severe step-off has formed.. You can’t really tell from the front, but from the side, the depression on the nasal bridge is so visible that it’s stressful. So I wanted revision surgery and searched around, and they say cases like this are usually reconstructed again with costal cartilage.. But I’m so scared of the side effects of costal cartilage, like neuralgia and so on, that I’m even considering removal.. I haven’t seen many cases like mine, so if anyone has overcome a similar case or knows anything, please share some information.
