Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Clinic review from a community

The director was kind and seemed to do their best, but what they said about the AS/follow-up revision part was different. Since my asymmetry was severe, I was willing to take that into account to some extent, but they said those parts would improve with a secondary correction. As time passed, though, the nasal tip dropped a bit and it started becoming crooked again, so when I requested AS/follow-up revision, they kept putting it off. Well, I understood that part because that was just how my tissue/skin type was, but they spoke as if it couldn’t get any better. After going back and forth several times, I ended up not receiving AS/follow-up revision and had a revision surgery somewhere else this time. And the surgery took, what, 8 hours? Everyone says it’s their first time seeing an autologous costal cartilage scar this big. As for my nose, I had revision surgery anyway, but I really don’t know what to do about the autologous costal cartilage scar. It’s stressing me out
