Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Review of Cheotdanchu Clinic from a community

Since it was my first nose surgery, I was really scared of side effects, and an acquaintance had it done here and had no side effects for several years, so I went ahead here. Even when I asked my acquaintance at the time, they recommended it, saying it was fine except that the line was too straight haha (back then.. I should have gone somewhere that could design it a bit more according to the look I was going for)

My nose type had a very slight hump + the nasal tip was slightly drooping, and after taking a CT scan, they said I had enough septal cartilage, so instead of osteotomy for the hump, we decided to just cover it by placing 1-2 mm of silicone. They recommended about 2 mm of fascia at the glabella, but since I preferred a straight-to-slightly-curved line, I asked them not to raise the glabella. For the nasal tip, I asked them to try to lift the tip so that a straight-to-slightly-curved line could come out, and because I had rhinitis, I proceeded with surgery for both the functional turbinate reduction + cosmetic purposes.

Now it has been about 3 years, and the turbinate reduction is still good, so I like that my nose does not get blocked from rhinitis when I sleep. My nostrils did not become uneven, my nose is not crooked, there is no contracture, and I have none of the side effects.

It is just that the cosmetic side is.. from the front, it is nice because it looks a little more defined than before, but from the side, the glabella is high + the nasal tip was not made high in the first place, and because it is a straight nose pointing downward, it became a long nose + arrow nose, which is disappointing. It looks pretty only from the front, and I end up Photoshopping the side profile, so I am currently researching revision surgery for cosmetic reasons.

If it were a male nose, I would recommend them because they create a straight line well, and even when doing functional + cosmetic surgery, they do it conservatively and well without side effects. But for women, if you prefer a straight-to-slightly-curved line or a semi-scooped line? Then without question, this is not the place. If the look you want is a straight nose, you prefer something natural, and you do not have a retruded chin, I recommend it! They do it well without side effects. Or even if the look you want is straight-to-slightly-curved, if your purpose is reconstruction rather than cosmetics, and you just want fewer side effects + want functional improvement, I recommend it!
