Eye Surgery Reviews

Review more than 1 year after buried double-eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty

I had buried double-eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty. The major swelling lasted about a month, and I think it took around 5 months to go down completely. It went down quickly until about one week, and after that it went down slowly. Walking is the best for swelling.. I stayed at home, so mine went down even more slowly. Personally, I liked my eyes around the 4-month mark. I had asymmetrical eyes + different eye-opening strength on each side, so in the end my eyes became slightly asymmetrical.. Usually it’s okay, but sometimes, or when I look at photos, it bothers me so, so much. I wanted a natural look, so I made the line low. So people around me don’t know unless I tell them, but I also wonder if I should have made it a little higher. Not right away, but later if it loosens, I’m thinking about revision surgery with a slightly higher line + correction for the asymmetry.
