On the day of surgery, it didn’t hurt much and I wasn’t swollen, so I could see the lines well. I felt so satisfied and happy that I’d had the surgery, and I thought the money I spent wasn’t a waste at all... but starting from days 1 and 2 after surgery, that fantasy collapsed lololol Wearing the compression garment is hell, but the pain was seriously so bad for me... I’d lived thinking I was pretty good at tolerating pain, but I realized maybe I wasn’t...? Since I live alone and had the surgery without people around me knowing, then ended up in pain, I suddenly got depressed... They say walking often helps with swelling and circulation, so I do walk, right? But because it hurts, of course I walk slowly, and the swelling went down all the way to my ankles and the tops of my feet, so my shoes felt tight and suffocating, and I ended up hating walking too. Today is exactly day 4 after surgery, and the only changes are that the edges of the bruises where the cannula was inserted have turned a bit yellow, and the swelling on the tops of my feet has started to go down a little. I think that’s about the only change lolol. Wearing the compression garment has gotten a bit easier too, I guess? But I’m still just as depressed because it hurts after surgery... I just keep thinking I wish someone would knock me out until the day my stitches are removed...
