Hello~ I had surgery the day before yesterday and am posting my Day-2 review! ✔️Previous breast size: 70B ✔️Breast width: 11.8 ✔️Implants: Mentor Xtra, 310/330 ✔️Surgical method: transaxillary incision, dual plane, general anesthesia ✔️Body type: 161 cm / 59 kg ✔️My left breast was slightly larger, so different implant sizes were used for my asymmetrical breasts ✔️Desired look: rather than round ○○ breasts, I wanted slightly droopy-looking UU breasts, at least a D cup
Even before I started going around for consultations, I had heard that Dr. Lee Jae-soo was the real deal, so he was my top choice in my mind. After actually going around for consultations, as expected, he explained things in detail, and the way he spoke was very professional and confident, so I trusted him. Also, I liked that I could view the CCTV footage as much as I wanted if I requested it, and above all, that the doctor personally checks on you when you go in for follow-ups!
💛Surgery Day💛 Before starting, the director designed on my breasts and checked the photos once more to confirm what breast shape I wanted! After thinking about it, I asked him to put in the largest size possible for me since I was getting surgery anyway! (Everyone seemed to regret going too small and wished they had gone bigger.)
During the consultation, he recommended 275/290 because if they got too big, my shoulders and neck could hurt and daily life could become uncomfortable, but on the day of surgery he said he would make them at least 310, so I was really satisfied!
I went into the operating room feeling nervous, and when I opened my eyes, I had pain in my breasts and armpits. I had a pain-control injection attached! After it finished, they asked if I wanted to rest more or if I was okay, but I wanted to get home quickly and rest, so I left right away! (But because of the general anesthesia, I felt so nauseous)
Maybe because of the pain-control injection, it hurt much less than I expected! Because of the drainage tubes in my armpits, it throbbed a little, but if I didn’t tense up and stayed still, it was tolerable??
But even opening a door or opening a water bottle uses strength in the armpit area, so a guardian has to do a lot for you🥲🥲
Still, folding laundry slowly and walking weren’t difficult, so I could move around moderately!
When I was first discharged, I had sensation in my breasts, so I thought all the nerves were alive, but after a few hours they became numb like they were anesthetized, so I was really flustered;;
💛Day 1 After Surgery💛 I went in, had the bandages removed, and had the drainage tubes taken out!
As soon as the bandages were removed, the pressure disappeared and it felt so refreshing!!
After the drainage tubes were removed, the armpit pain also decreased a bit, which was so nice (but they stitched the armpit again where the drain had been removed, and wow, it hurt so much)
After about 3 hours, there was basically no pain at all, and as long as I didn’t lift anything or use my arms, it didn’t even feel like I had surgery! I thought I would be groaning in pain, unable to do anything and just lying down, but I was so fine that I was surprised
After getting the drains removed, I felt it was a shame to go straight home, so I played games at a PC cafe before going home
One of the good things about Next is that you don’t have to wear a bolero compression garment! Even just wearing the upper band feels tight, so I can’t tell you how grateful I am that I don’t have to wear a bolero..
Until Day 7, I have to wear the upper band 24 hours a day, and from Day 8, I only have to wear it when sleeping, so I hope time passes quickly><
I’m going to get the stitches removed on Day 7, and by then I think lying down and getting up will also become a bit easier.
Right now, when I get up after lying down, the implants move downward and it causes pain
After getting home, I briefly took off the upper band and checked the shape, and I’m satisfied because I think it turned out much better than expected!! I’m just looking forward to them becoming more natural from now on.
If you’re deliberating about breast surgery, at least go get a consultation with Dr. Lee Jae-soo! I totally highly recommend him.
