I had revision nose surgery in March. On the day the splint was removed, there was a wound, and it gradually started oozing and becoming indented, then healed in that state. There were quite a lot of reviews, so I looked at them, decided to have surgery, and went through with it, but it was upsetting. Anyway, there is an indented, red scar. The hospital says they’ll treat it^^ Ever since it became indented, I haven’t been in my right mind. I cried and cried and cried, and I felt like I was going to develop a mental illness. I wondered, am I mentally damaged to this extent? Should I die? Is this scar that I didn’t have before what I gained from revision surgery? That’s how I felt. For now, I’m going to try everything I can before treatment!! If anyone is doing home care for an indented scar like mine, could you let me know? The hospital told me to apply concealer, but I should try what I can do at home, right? For now, Gemini told me to maintain a moisture barrier, so I’m living with a thick layer of D-panthenol ointment on it. I also bought a PDRN ampoule today, and I bought Cica-Care sheets too and am waiting for delivery. It would be nice if this wound were nothing serious, but since it’s a wound that appeared after surgery, the only care I can really do is apply things. If anyone has been through something like me and found something effective, please let me know^^ *I uploaded the photo for reference. I’m trying to believe it will get better, so please leave me a word of encouragement too.
