The third place I visited was ㅂㅌ Plastic Surgery, and I had a consultation with Director ㅎㅇㅅ! First of all, when comparing the review photos, this was the hospital whose design I liked the most, so I had high expectations even before visiting. The consultation took about 30 minutes with the manager and about 10 minutes with the director, and there was a bit of waiting in between (I think I waited over 1 hour in total).
First, the manager was very kind. The director seemed very confident in his own skills and diagnosis. He showed me the CT right away, compared the side-profile effect and frontal effect, clearly marked the nerve line, and told me only objective points, such as which side the nerve was closer to and how much could be removed. (If you are expecting a kind and warm consultation, that was not the style; he was very rational and cynical.)
Here as well, cheekbone reduction was recommended, and the director at this clinic said cortical osteotomy absolutely had to be done for a frontal effect. For that, even just for the proportions, cheekbone reduction had to be included to create the ideal contour ratio, and if not, only the jaw would look pointy, so I would definitely regret it, he said. I also wanted a clear frontal effect rather than a side-profile effect, so I had been hoping for cortical osteotomy, and I did not particularly think it was overtreatment. (Even if you only refer to each hospital's YouTube videos, they show what surgical style each director aims for and what design they prefer, so I really hope you check them. I already knew this director preferred cortical osteotomy, and that was why I came for a consultation here, so it was what I expected.) For the cheekbones, he said they would insert a total of 3 fixation pins, one each in the front, side, and upper areas, and that a sideburn incision would be needed here as well to fix the lateral cheekbone.
To prevent a secondary angle, even if they did not touch the chin tip, they would need to incise up to the area in front of it, so it was cheekbone + square jaw + chin tip (not operated on separately), and it proceeded as 3-part facial contouring. When I said I had not really thought much about the chin tip, the director also said it would probably be better to leave it as is. Regarding the cost, I did wonder why it was considered 3 parts when the chin tip was not being done, but the manager said it was more like trimming the chin tip to prevent a secondary angle, so I just accepted it. (Other hospitals also quoted more or less similar prices...)
And they happened to be running an aftercare promotion, so the system was well organized! I am mentioning it for anyone who wants to refer to it haha
