I didn’t have contracture, but overall I felt unsatisfied with things like the height of my nose and the nasal tip, so I decided to have revision rhinoplasty. The reason I chose Lowell was because of my consultation with Director Kim Jae-yoon. During the consultation, his explanation was concise but clear, and thanks to that I decided to have surgery that same day. Since I would already be under sedation, I also decided to have lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty on my eyes at the same time. For the nasal bridge, we used Sofit, a 3D implant, and for the nasal tip, donated costal cartilage and ear cartilage were used. Since I was having several procedures done, I was so nervous and my heart was pounding on the day of surgery;; Anyway, everything ended safely and I came home, but the first few days were really tough. I struggled quite a bit with swelling, severe nasal congestion, and feeling unwell; I went in the day right after surgery for treatment and an antibiotic injection, and continued going in for additional swelling care and treatment. Maybe because it’s not a large hospital, I felt like they took good care of me. The director, the consultant, and all the staff who provide the treatments have been looking after me kindly, so I’ve been going to the clinic with peace of mind. I’m still only one month post-op, so there is a lot of swelling at the nasal tip and my side profile looks a bit big and excessive, but from the front it looks much more refined. I’m praying that time passes quickly and my side profile becomes a bit sharper too haha. As for the lateral and lower canthoplasty, my eyes show all the way to the end of the iris, so my satisfaction at one month is the best! I went after seeing dual canthoplasty and revision rhinoplasty on the app, and I also liked that, excluding the implant, the price was the same as on the app. I was nervous because I did both my eyes and nose, but now at one month post-op, I’m satisfied!
