My nose is already very damaged from many surgeries, and I am in a very fragile physical and mental state. Actually, the two hospitals are not extremely famous hospitals, but the biggest merits were that they are single-doctor clinics, they do not perform more than two surgeries a day, I had checked reviews on various sites and YouTube, and they specialize in contracted noses. I was not exactly at the level of a contracted nose, but I thought that if a hospital could handle surgery of that level of difficulty, they could also fix my nose, so I split the visits into morning/afternoon and went to only those two places. (Honestly, I wanted to look into other places too, but I did not have the stamina.)
ㅊㅁ Consultation fee: 10,000 won / Consultation in the order of director > consultant. - After arriving, I had a CT scan. About 15 minutes later, the consultation with the director started. Looking at the CT images, he recorded each surgery I had had, asking very detailed questions and slowly beginning to explain. Currently, my nasal columella is sunken, and the nostrils are asymmetrical and pinched. He said the skin over the nasal bridge silicone area has become too thin, so it may need to be lowered. On top of that, there is stenosis near the nostril area, so that also needs to be resolved, and the two pieces of donated costal cartilage that had been used have already been absorbed, so the nasal tip has dropped. (Until then, I did not know my condition was this bad, but when I heard the explanation, it felt like a level that would put a contracted nose to shame.) - He said autologous costal cartilage would be used for the columella / AlloDerm or silicone would need to be used for the nasal bridge (he did recommend AlloDerm a bit more, saying it has far fewer side effects than silicone) / for the pinched area, tissue would be harvested from the scalp and used, and general anesthesia would be needed. (The general anesthesia bothered me a little.) - We talked about this and that, and 20 minutes flew by. He patted my shoulder and said I must have gone through a lot, and I almost cried... Honestly, I have gone to consultations at many places and had many surgeries, but I have never seen a doctor who listened so calmly to my story and explained things this well. Even when I asked questions, he answered everything with a smile. - After that, I started talking with the consultant, and there was absolutely no pressure to book. I talked with the director for 20 minutes and with the consultant for about 7 minutes. It was a consultation that mostly reviewed once again what the director had said. - Overall: The staff were kind. In particular, the consultation with the director was very good.

(This was also my first time seeing that.) I think I waited about 30 minutes because the director was in surgery. - Maybe because he came right after surgery, he looked a bit tired. I had seen in another review that he seemed like a tsundere type, and that seemed exactly right. Still, he explained things calmly and very well, so it went right into my ears. Looking at the CT, he explained almost the same things as above. My current nasal bridge is about 4.5 mm, and when I said I wanted the bridge a little higher and asked whether it could be raised more, he said firmly that because the skin is thin, absolutely not; he could do it if I wanted, but side effects could occur, so it needs to be lowered. - Since the existing donated costal cartilage cannot be used anyway, use autologous costal cartilage, supplement the thinned skin over the nasal bridge with donated dermis, use silicone, sedation anesthesia (1.5 cm incision / autologous costal cartilage can be harvested within 30 minutes), and the pinched area can be improved (I cannot remember the material name, sorry). - I think the consultation lasted about 10 minutes, and he told me to say anything else I wanted to ask, but he had explained things simply and well, so I had no more questions. - I started talking with the consultant, and there was no pressure to book. First of all, she was very kind and seemed to have as much expertise as the director (should I call it the composure that comes from experience..?). She showed me photos of patients similar to my situation, and I think we had a really fun conversation. It seems like we spent over 20 minutes just talking. There is a YouTube video review of the consultant having surgery with the director, and seeing her in person, it turned out very naturally and well. Seeing an actual person who had surgery right in front of my eyes somehow made me trust them more. - Overall: As expected, the staff were kind. The consultation with the director was not extremely long, but I liked that he pointed out only the key points.
There are not many reviews for these two hospitals, so I thought some people might be curious, and I left this consultation review. As expected, the price is expensive because it is revision surgery. I booked surgery at the end of May at one of these two places. I will not say which one. Later, after surgery, I will post a proper review about whether it went well or failed. Then that is all~:)
