Everyone, I finally went through with the breast surgery I had only been thinking about a million times! I decided boldly because I felt like I should do it before getting past my 30s, and to get straight to the point, I’m extremely satisfied. At this clinic, they moved everything along quickly, from taking photos to the consultation and simulation. For scaredy-cats like me, I actually think this might be better? Since everything moved step by step without time to overthink, I felt more at ease lol
Day 1 to Day 2 I got nervous because in the reviews, everyone’s bruising and dark bruises looked no joke, but I was honestly really lucky and had almost no bruising! On the first day, they removed the bandages and I put on a compression bra, and they said I need to wear it for a month. What was interesting is that getting up on the second day was much easier than the day after surgery? The pain during daily activities was also less than I expected, so I was surprised lol
One week (now) - Almost painless as long as I don’t make weird movements - Slightly swollen and stiff when I wake up in the morning - The yellow bruising is almost all gone, and the scar is really clean - Sometimes the wound area stings? and when I move, there is a pulling sensation
I’m still living very carefully, but as the swelling goes down, I can feel it gradually getting softer, so I’m happy It’s only day 7 now, but the fit already looks different, so looking in the mirror is actually fun. For everyone who is a scaredy-cat like me and still thinking about it, don’t worry and at least go for a consultation haha
