Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

Eye surgery requires real caution, caution, and more caution

Guys, I’ve had double-eyelid surgery on my eyes 4 times only... or was it 5 times?ㅜㅜ lololol If I really tell you my whole story: buried suture at Hospital 1 -> revision buried suture at Hospital 1. Reason for revision: the doctor made the line way too thin + the doctor who did mine left, so the director did it instead. Hospital 2 <— this is where the problems started. The buried-suture line became too thin, so one side came undone. Of course I liked it, but I thought about getting it done again at the same place and then decided not to. Reason: because it had come undone. I was in a hurry, so I roughly searched around in cafes and ended up getting it done at some hospital. It was a hospital famous for medial epicanthoplasty, so I thought, “Ah, they must be good at double-eyelid surgery too, right?” <— this is where a huge problem happened. I had an incisional procedure, but the eye where the buried suture had come undone came undone again. On top of that, the lines were uneven + there was scarring. They said they’d do a revision, so I was like okay okay and did it again. But as soon as that eye hit 3 months, the line disappeared, leaving only a scar lol. The doctor said they did their best, so what can you do. It was seriously legendary-level mental distress. But what was the problem? There was no line, but my eye was already a lump of scar tissue lol. Even right after I came out from surgery, I asked, “Is this scar really okay?” but the doctor was like: “Yeah yeah, it’s fine, it’s fine,” acting like that. They said the scar would be okay, that the surgery went well, but it came undone lol. So I went around to consultations in that state, and everyone either turned me away or recommended a high line to remove my scar + quoted a high price... So now I’ve gone to seriously 18201010 consultations, constantly searching this community and going around, and after a consultation, I got revision surgery on both sides with buried sutures.. Thankfully, I’m satisfied now. I really hope it doesn’t come undone.. If it does come undone? In a few years? Then at that point I’ll just have this hospital revise it with an incisional procedure. Ha, it was seriously the worst period. Eye-surgery-related mental distress was legendary, and everyone, double-eyelid surgery? Don’t think, “Well, everyone else succeeds anyway.” If it goes wrong, it’s harder than you’d think.... I probably don’t think there’s anyone who has had as many surgeries as me.. So now I’ve become an eye expert. I’ve become someone who can tell which hospital it is just by seeing the initials. Shagal!
