I’ve booked my surgery at the clinic, and the biggest thing I’m worried about is whether to use autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage. What do you all think would be better? A scar + the stability of using my own cartilage, or no scar + the risk of inflammation because it’s donated costal cartilage? Or maybe because it feels like it’s someone else’s tissue... I keep thinking about it.
