I had double eyelid surgery with the buried suture method 10 years ago, and both sides are slightly uneven, but especially on one side, the double eyelid line is almost not visibleㅠㅠ So I’m wondering whether to have surgery only on that one side or do both sides.
After going around for consultations, opinions are split between “only do one side” and “do both sides.”
The doctor who recommends only one side says) If you don’t have complaints about one side, there’s no need to touch it unnecessarily because it will be irritating/traumatic.
The doctor who recommends both sides says) Their stance is that it’s better to do both sides because of fixation strength.
Even if I do both sides, the side I’m relatively satisfied with would be kept almost exactly the same line, so I’m worried the scar/mark might become darker for no reason. (When I asked the doctor, they said that could happen.)
Have any of you had this kind of experience??ㅠㅠㅠ
