Before <before revision surgery> After <after surgery> I went around to consultations, and I proceeded with surgery right away at the last place I liked. It’s been 3 weeks now. I had a lot of concerns because my eyes were uneven.
Even though I had already had incisional surgery 6 years ago, the symmetry didn’t match, so people often misunderstood and asked if I was glaring at them.. Because I was misunderstood like that so much, it was really hard and stressful to look people in the eye; I even still had a scar from my first incisional surgery, so I was also very concerned about having the revision done with an incision. I thought the scar might get darker.
Surprisingly, the eye above is the one that had double eyelid surgery. Seriously, it makes no sense I regretted so much that, even after paying full price, my double eyelid surgery only turned out like this; since my expensive first surgery failed and this was revision surgery, I thought I needed to look into it more carefully, so I thought about it for quite a while.
It was a hospital said to do a lot of revision eye surgery, the eye surgery experience was long, and the after-service period was the longest, so I decided on this hospital. And since it’s a single-doctor clinic, they said the doctor would personally check my progress every time I came in.
They said we should go in with an incision to improve the asymmetry, and they recommended ptosis correction (it was a recommendation, but I just said I’d do it. I thought it might help improve the eye line lol) I also told them to do the lateral canthoplasty and under-eye fat repositioning only subtly.
On day 1 after surgery, I looked in the mirror and was honestly so shocked I thought it was surgery to lower the line, but maybe because of swelling, I felt like the line had gone up too much. So when I went to the hospital and received aftercare on day 1 and day 7, I mentioned it, and they said once the swelling went down more, the line would look more proper. Phew ~..
It’s now been 3 weeks since surgery, and just like the director said, after the stitches were removed and a bit more time passed, the swelling went down a lot, the line became natural, and the shape I wanted came out
Ptosis correction was the best move lol My eyes look much clearer, and with the lateral canthoplasty and under-eye fat repositioning, my impression seems much softer Now there aren’t people saying things like I’m glaring anymore
Anyway, there are no side effects, and opening my eyes has become easier, so I’m living my daily life really well Since my asymmetry concern has been solved, I even sleep better lol
Since I’m a man, looking into many hospitals was hard and annoying, but because it was revision surgery, it’s true that I paid a lot of attention to it Look up a lot of reviews and find a good place carefully
