I was concerned about my low nose, bulbous nose, and side profile, so I decided to get rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage. I found out about RU Plastic Surgery through an acquaintance’s referral, and when I went for my first consultation, the consultant explained everything so well. The biggest reason was that Director Kim Hyun-joo also understood the style I was going for very well and clearly told me exactly what was possible and what wasn’t. Also, their aftercare services, which other places did not offer, really set them apart from other clinics, so I even booked my rhinoplasty date. The director recommended silicone for the nasal bridge and autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip. In conclusion, I had my nasal bridge and tip raised, bulbous nose correction, and short nose correction. After the rhinoplasty, my nose did not hurt except when the stitches were removed, and removing the costal cartilage stitches was painful, but it gradually improved a lot. Also, after the surgery, once the packing was removed and I went about daily life, I felt that breathing was a bit easier than before, and I heard it was probably because the nasolabial angle had been set! After surgery, I regularly received swelling laser treatments, so the swelling went down really quickly. It went down so fast that people around me even said I had no swelling haha The post-op shape came out exactly like the nose I had wanted, and I also loved the side profile so much that after the rhinoplasty, there really! was nothing I was dissatisfied with or felt was lacking! The director understood my desired look so well, so I am really, really, really satisfied with the result 🥰🥰
