I had heard that the director has handled many functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty cases, and during the consultation I did get the sense that they had a long career. I had usually struggled with the feeling that one side of my nose was often blocked, but only after the consultation did I understand the reason for this one-sided nasal obstruction. While looking at the CT scan, the director explained the internal structure of my nose and the condition of my nasal septum. After explaining the cause of the nasal obstruction, they described a plan to do functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty together. I also asked about the fact that my nasal tip looked a little droopy, and they said they would define the nasal tip well. They explained that doing my nose could make my overall impression look cleaner, and said it would be best to do it within a range that suits my face. The consultation style felt calm and realistic? I liked that they talked about both what I could expect and the surgical limitations. After the consultation, I became even more convinced that it would indeed be better to do it together as functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty.
