>Surgery day< When I woke up, the surgery was already over I lay down in the recovery room for a few hours to recover, and maybe because I hadn’t been too worried, I did have some pain..🥲 (I’m usually pretty insensitive to pain..) Maybe because of the compression bra, breathing was a bit difficult too, and I had no strength in my hands or arms at all, so I couldn’t do anything by myself..ㅎ
Still, after I went home, ate porridge, took medicine, and slept a bit, I felt better Respect to people who eat rice from the day of surgery..👍 Forget rice, even porridge barely went down…
Also, sleeping while sitting up.. was more uncomfortable than I expected☠️ (As someone who insisted on sleeping curled up on my side..) It was so uncomfortable that I couldn’t really sleep, and I was almost half-asleep the whole time I remember just wishing morning would come quickly..🤯
Day 1️⃣ It was better than the day before, but it still seemed painful if I didn’t take medicine, and it felt stiff, tight, I had no strength in my arms, it was hard to breathe, I had indigestion maybe because of the compression bra, and even moving a little to help digestion made me short of breath..
……It was hard..😂 Because I had no strength in my arms, for several days I couldn’t even flush the toilet by myselfㅋㅋㅋ
Still, I started eating rice instead of porridge..^^
More than anything, since I couldn’t lie down, my back, lower back, and butt hurt a lot
Days 2️⃣•3️⃣ They said swelling is the worst on days 2 and 3, and really… I thought I was going to burstㅋ Especially, whether it was just my imagination or not, it felt like I swelled more at dawn, so I got seriously worried by myself, thinking something was going wrong🤔 Until then, I couldn’t even imagine sneezing or taking a deep breath.. and I had to yawn in little breaksㅋㅋ
The pain decreased day by day, and I felt like I kept tensing my trapezius muscles, so I massaged my trapezius often
Days 4️⃣•5️⃣ What had been swollen tight until day 3 went back down the very next day😮 It was fascinating But that swelling moved down to my abdomen.. My upper abdomen stuck out roundly
After days 2 and 3 passed, there was almost no pain, and I could flush the toilet by myself>< Maybe I got somewhat used to sleeping sitting up, so I think I slept relatively well.. and I finally showered 💦 Though by “shower,” I mean washing my hair and washing my lower body.. It was hard..ㅋㅎ When I was washing, the gauze in my armpit came off, so I changed it with the extra one the hospital gave me (but it came off again..ㅎ)
Maybe because a hunched posture was comfortable since I couldn’t fully open up my chest, my shoulders felt heavy By around this time, I could open up my chest to some extent, so I did that often And if there was another uncomfortable thing, it was that I kept getting gas buildup..? Whenever that happened, I loosened the upper band a little and slightly lifted the compression bra too ٩( 'ω' )و
Days 6️⃣•7️⃣ Day 6 also passed without any problems.. Finally, hospital visit day!!! The taped areas had been really itchy.. so I wanted to remove them quicklyㅠ I received CAPS care, saw the director, removed the tape (the feeling when it came off 👍), and because my asymmetry was severe, they told me to wear the compression bra longer They said my progress was very good, with no bruising or swelling🙈 They said it turned out exactly as they had imagined.. (Full-body showers are possible starting today!! Intense exercise, running ❌) Before surgery, I was secretly bothered by the fact that the implant sizes on both sides were quite different, but they made my breasts look so natural and pretty that the worry felt pointless..🥲 At first, the right side was very tight and swollen, but now the feel and size are almost no different, and I’m satisfied!! The abdominal swelling is almost gone too.. I want to take off the surgical bra soon..🧎♀️
