I’m someone who had my first nose surgery a looong time ago at an ENT clinic. Back then, I had a pretty careless mindset, like “Please just make it look natural...” But ha... the problem was… it really didn’t even look like I’d had surgery, and as time passed, my nasal tip gradually got absorbed and started drooping…^^ From the front, it was still somewhat okay, but from the side, it looked slightly droopy like a hump nose… Only people who know this will understand, but I instantly became obsessed and stressed about my nose... When taking photos, if my side profile showed, I deleted it right away, and I only took front-facing photos. Then from last year, I finally decided on revision surgery and researched clinics like crazy… I dug through communities, apps, and reviews. I also worked hard doing online consultations and research, and since my nose was overall small and spread out, they said the columella needed to be built up properly.... At the clinic I ultimately chose, autologous costal cartilage was recommended, and during the consultation, they explained in quite a lot of detail why this method suited me, so it made sense to me. It wasn’t like “this is unconditionally good,” but they explained it based on my nose condition, so I felt, ah, this place seems pretty trustworthy. So I just went for it… (I was fairly brave back then lol) After surgery, I was worried it would hurt because it was autologous costal cartilage, but maybe I lucked out with painlessness? It was just a slight throbbing? About that much. There was nothing like severe pain at all, so I was actually surprised lol I’m now two months post-op, and my nose line has lifted so naturally. Especially the side line is insane hehe… That droopy look I had been stressed about is gone, and it looks sharp and neatly refined, so the happiest part is that I don’t have to worry about angles when taking photos It’s not an obviously artificial-looking nose; it just feels like my original nose, but well made, so I’m very, very, very satisfied.... I also wonder if I wouldn’t have had to spend double the money if I’d done my first surgery at a place like this... When I was looking for information, I searched through communities and apps a lot, and since I got this far thanks to the posts that helped me then, I’m leaving my review too. If anyone is considering revision surgery, please choose your clinic really carefully, and I really, really hope it goes well for you! + For everyone looking into their first surgery, don’t take a detour like I did, and I hope you finish it well in one go… 🙏
