Nose Surgery Reviews

1-month review of my primary rhinoplasty with donated costal cartilage + forehead filler

My nasal hump used to be really severe. From the side, the middle of my nasal bridge stuck out, and the nasal tip was also low and looked spread out, so I was always unhappy with my nose, whether from the front or the side. The bridge line was bumpy because of the hump, but the tip was low and wide, so overall it looked very blunt and rough, I guess. I wanted to get a clean line with a refined straight-to-slightly-curved profile, so I had my primary rhinoplasty using donated costal cartilage. My forehead was also sunken, so when looking at my nose and forehead together, the flatness was really noticeable. The director said it would look much better if I did a small amount of forehead filler too, so I got forehead filler at the same time. I had the surgery at Bymin Plastic Surgery, and I’m now 1 month post-op. The area where the hump used to be has been smoothed out, and the nasal tip has definitely lifted. I wanted a straight-to-slightly-curved line, and from the side it came out exactly with that feeling, so I like it. Even though only a small amount was added to my forehead, it has the effect of making my whole face look more three-dimensional. There is still some minor swelling left, but if it already looks this good now, I’m looking forward to it looking even better once more swelling goes down.
