Nose Surgery Reviews

Plastic surgery clinic community review

I had revision surgery about 10 years ago. I liked the shape, but because of the costal cartilage support graft, my nose was extremely blocked. It was difficult, so I asked several times, but I was told the only options were rhinitis surgery or complete removal (with no guarantee of the shape). I put up with it and lived like that for about 10 years. Gradually, the skin became thinner, the silicone started showing through, a step-off developed, and the costal cartilage was also resorbed, so the nose became lower. (Rather than a side effect, this seems unavoidable as time passes.) What I regret is that my nose did not need nostril lowering, but after I had the surgery because it was recommended, the scar tissue made me uncomfortable, worrying that someone might see my nostrils... In the end, I had everything removed at another hospital Even after removal, the scar from nostril lowering will never go away for the rest of my life... I regret wondering how it would have been if they had fully explained these things to me in advance before the surgery.
