I like clothes, so I’ve kept working as a fitting model. My body is decent enough, but honestly, I wasn’t confident about my face, so I only did shoots where I didn’t show my face. But as I kept doing it, I started hitting a limit. These days, the atmosphere is that everyone looks at the face too, so I felt like I was gradually losing competitiveness, and my self-esteem hit rock bottom. It wasn’t that I felt I was ugly, but my nose was really the problem. It was seriously like a chestnut nose. It had no three-dimensionality at all, was bulbous, low, and slightly droopy, so every time I looked in the mirror, it felt flat and stuffy-looking? So I thought I’d just change one thing. I figured even if only my nose changed, the overall impression of my face would change ㅇㅇ Just then, a friend had gotten it done first, and when I saw his result, I was honestly shocked. It was to the point where he didn’t look like the face I used to know, so I thought, ah, I definitely have to do this. So I booked a consultation at the place my friend went to, and they explained various things in detail for almost an hour, but since I didn’t know much, I think I honestly forgot almost half of it. What I remember is that they clearly told me how much was possible based on my nose structure and face shape, so it didn’t feel like they were just raising my expectations for no reason, and they didn’t try to upsell me anything else at all. I liked that, so I just set the date that same day, waited for the surgery day, and got the surgery. Recovery after surgery was honestly a bit hard.. It was a kind of stuffiness I’d never experienced before in my life. Still, when I looked in the mirror on the day they removed the splint after surgery, it came out much better than I expected, so I was a bit surprised. The height increased moderately and the line was shaped naturally, and I liked that it didn’t feel overly prominent. It didn’t look too much like a fake nose. Really, just changing my nose changed the overall impression of my face. Before, if I had a somewhat blurry impression, now I hear a lot that I look more defined. When shooting, the vibe is definitely different too. Before, I depended a lot on angles, and it was hard to choose photos, but now there are more usable cuts even when I just take them normally. So these days I’m also doing shoots with my face showing. What I really deeply feel after the surgery is that for men, it’s the nose. Personally, it’s really the nose rather than the eyes I hesitated a bit at first too, but now I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner. I should’ve done it when I was a bit younger and lived enjoying it... Anyway, I spent a lot of money, but by my standards, it was a highly satisfying choice!
