They didn’t just look at the shape of my nose; they checked everything overall, including the thickness of my nasal skin, the support of my nasal tip, the existing structure, and so on, while explaining it to me. Instead of simply saying, “It will look pretty if we do it this way,” they explained each reason one by one for why the surgery needed to be done in that method, so it was much easier to understand, and I felt that the consultation itself was very detailed. What was especially impressive was that they didn’t recommend a direction of unconditionally raising only the nasal bridge, but instead recommended a design that would create a natural line according to my facial proportions. It wasn’t an overly obvious-looking nose, but more about harmonizing with the whole face, so I think that made me trust them more. Since I had already gone to consultations at several other hospitals before that, I was in a situation where I could compare them, and I could definitely feel a difference in the depth of the consultation and the way they explained things. It didn’t feel like I was simply listening to a consultation, but like I was receiving a proper analysis. Even when I asked questions, they didn’t brush them off and explained everything to the end, so my trust built up, and when I came out after the consultation, I felt certain: “I can do it here.”
