I’m 3 weeks post-op from nose surgery (now just past it), and I used silicone and autologous costal cartilage. My nose condition is fairly okay, and the scar from the autologous costal cartilage seems smaller than I expected, but until when will this look red..? I thought I was pretty unfazed by scars, but I guess not. Since I see it every time I shower, it seems to bother me more than I expected. It’s kind of funny that I’m being like this when it hasn’t even been a month yet.... When I went to Louvre for my progress check, I was told it was healing well, so I think it’ll probably fade if I live without worrying about it, but still, since there’s such a thing as big data, I’m curious and asking
And separately, autologous costal cartilage... hurts more than I expected.. On the second day after surgery, I actually ran because I thought I’d miss the traffic light, and it hurt so much. I couldn’t even breathe Everyone, after surgery, live while thinking, “I’m a patient..”
