Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

A 6-Month Review of Facial Contouring Surgery From Someone Who Had a Lot of Concerns About Their Jawline

It’s been about 6 months since I had cheekbone reduction with Director Lee Ji-hyuk at ㅇㅇㄷ Hospital. I worried a lot before the surgery, but during the consultation, they checked the condition of my bones with a CT scan and explained the surgical method, so I decided to go ahead with it. I remember feeling reassured because they said they would proceed using navigation to minimize damage to the nerve line. The surgery was done under general anesthesia and took about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and since the incision was inside the mouth, there are no externally visible scars, which is also a huge plus! For the first 1-2 weeks, I was worried because it felt like the swelling wasn’t going down as much as I expected, but after 2 weeks, it gradually started to subside, and now there is almost no swelling and sensation has naturally returned. Personally, what I’m most satisfied with is my side cheekbone line. In the past, I often wore my hair down, but now even when I tie it up, my facial line looks much softer, so I think that’s the part I feel the biggest difference in. After the surgery, I also went diligently for aftercare. I received lymphatic massage and radiofrequency treatment about 3 times, and I think they helped with swelling management and recovery!! For those who, like me, have concerns about their cheekbones or facial line, I recommend getting consultations at several places before deciding.
