There weren't many reviews, opinions were very divided, and the place felt mysterious, so I was anxious. But for me, recovery was the most important thing, and after seeing before-and-after videos on Instagram, I made up my mind, booked it, and went ahead with the surgery.
General anesthesia - everyone says they get really dizzy, but I wasn't that bad. It was unpleasant, but I fell asleep in maybe 30 seconds, so it was fine.
Swelling after surgery - since it was the same day, I still don't really know, but there was so little swelling that it was fair to say there was basically none. It felt so different from when I had other surgery that I was thrown off. I had believed about half of what people said about there being no swelling, and not believed the other half, but since I myself had no swelling, it felt amazing.
It just felt like my usual face with bandages wrapped all around it. Even my friends were like, "Huh, why do you look normal?"
The doctor seemed very proud of his own surgery and explained things honestly. However, he didn't have the kind, careful vibe that some other clinics have. Also, there wasn't an anesthesiologist; he handled everything himself.
When I first woke up from anesthesia after the surgery, I was in pain, and I immediately thought, "Why did I even do this?" But when I told the doctor, "It hurts, it hurts," he said the anesthesia medicine was still spreading and told me to wait and sleep, saying it would get better.
They moved me to the recovery room, and I was lying there awake because of the pain, but it gradually got better. So up to now, it was basically just a dull ache like after going to the dentist? I feel pretty much fine.
The facility was cleaner than I expected, and the operating room was just like in the video, lol. There was CCTV inside the operating room, and there were two people, whether staff or nurses, plus the doctor, so three people in total.
Oh, and the staff didn't feel rude at all. I can't tell the result because of the bandages, but I'm so, so curious.
I'll be able to see it when I go to the hospital for my checkup tomorrow, so I'll leave another review then.
