Eye Surgery Reviews

3 months after under-eye fat repositioning and ptosis correction haha (late 30s)

I didn’t used to be like this, but after I entered my 30s, the area under my eyes started to look hollow. I could say I could cover other areas with makeup, but my tear troughs had become so deep that it was really bothering me. At the same time, my eyelids started drooping too, and because of that, my uneven eyes became even worse. As time went by, they kept becoming more asymmetrical.

I didn’t know what to do, so I was searching randomly and found out about under-eye fat repositioning. While getting a consultation at a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong, I ended up also getting non-incisional ptosis correction at the same time!

It wasn’t a large factory-style hospital but a private clinic, and they said the director would handle everything from the surgery to the aftercare, so I trusted them and went ahead with the surgery haha

They said the major swelling usually goes down in about 1 week, and after that the smaller residual swelling gradually goes away, but I wanted it to go down quickly, so I went out for a walk every night after the surgery lol It definitely seemed to help.

For reducing swelling quickly, I think things like pumpkin juice just depend on the person, and exercise is the best. As for bruising, in the beginning I had a faint yellowish bruise, and it disappeared around the time the swelling went down. I’m glad neither the bruising nor swelling lasted long.

After I passed the 2-week mark after surgery, both the under-eye fat repositioning and ptosis correction areas started settling into place. Around a month later, I heard quite a lot that I had become prettier and that my face looked brighter.

Now that it’s been 3 months, I really like my face. I should have done it sooner haha I’m so happy the surgery was a success~
