Because of my eye shape, I was told several times that I looked masculine, and it was stressful hearing that I looked sleepy. They said it was because I had severe ptosis, where I opened my eyes with my forehead and looked sleepy no matter how wide I tried to open my eyes. There was no doubt about it; anyone could tell I had severe ptosis... I also had some flesh on my upper eyelids, so I looked for a place known for doing incisional eye shape correction well. I went to a clinic recommended by an acquaintance, and the director said I only needed a slight medial epicanthoplasty to address the Mongolian fold. I did the lateral canthoplasty because I wanted it. I did want to have surgery conservatively, but the surgical plan ended up being quite a lot.. haha But after having it done, I think it turned out well with a natural look. If I had made it more dramatic than this, I think I might have regretted it?? My mom also says my eyes are so pretty now, and my friends say the surgery went well hehe
