Innofit Donated Costal Cartilage First Rhinoplasty Review

My nose was originally low and had a slightly broad, flat look, so it had been a concern for me for a long time. That said, I didn’t want a nose that looked too artificially high and sharp, and I absolutely wanted to avoid my nose becoming upturned so that the nostrils would show a lot from the front. When I looked at review photos from other clinics, I saw quite a few cases like that, so this was my biggest concern. I liked that the consultation involved taking a CT scan and analyzing my nasal structure in detail. Since this was my first rhinoplasty, I was worried something might go wrong, but I felt a little less burdened thinking that even if things did not go well, removing the inserted materials could return me almost to my original state. One thing I liked during the consultation was that Dr. Kim Jae-yoon honestly told me that no one can accurately predict whether or when donated costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage will be absorbed, and instead explained that even when using donated costal cartilage, he proceeds in a way that reduces risk by using autologous ear cartilage together. Since my health is not that good and I had been wanting to use donated costal cartilage, that sounded good to me. So for the nasal bridge, I used Innofit, a 3D implant, and for the nasal tip, I used donated costal cartilage and ear cartilage. Except for the implant, I paid exactly the amount listed on the app, which I also liked. And the doctor has quite firm standards. He reflects the direction the patient wants, but also adds his own judgment and explains it. I was worried about that at first, but I think the doctor’s judgment was right. Before and after surgery, the waiting time can feel a bit boring and nerve-racking, but there was a comfortable space where I could rest, so that part was fine too. After surgery, I followed the precautions I was given exactly, and for one week I had almost no pain or swelling. Even when the splint was removed afterward, there was almost no bruising, and the condition was cleaner than I expected. The swelling care during later clinic visits and the exfoliation on the day the splint was removed were also good. I hadn’t even thought of that part, but I think women would find that especially helpful too. The aftercare seemed good, so even as a man I was satisfied. I couldn’t exercise during that time, so I actually gained a little weight, but personally I’m also satisfied that as my nose became higher, I look less like I gained weight. I was also worried that it might be obvious I had plastic surgery, but friends I met after a month reacted only with things like, “Something looks better,” or “Did you lose weight?” so I felt relieved. It has only been about a month since surgery, but I am satisfied with the progress so far, and I would recommend it if someone around me were considering rhinoplasty.
